Lost??
Do you ever get lost in all the information that is out there about affiliate marketing?
When I start finding a lot of really interesting websites, blogs, and other information on Affiliate Marketing, I lose focus on any of them and go back and forth and really never get anything accomplished.
I think I have a case of ADD, plus I am the worlds worst organizer. It isn’t that I am not able to learn each and every bit of information out there. It is like I am a kid in a candy store. I can’t decide which one to chose but I want to test each one of them. They all look del.icio.us. !!! If I could just Stumble upon one that could be myspace there might be a flicker of hope. For the moment Bumpzee is my favorite (the bright green color really makes me in a happy mood, it is so fun).
I should start from step one and try to figure out some of this terminology and what it actually means. Java makes me think of coffee; sql brings a picture of a squirrel to my mind; php makes me think I am tired likes phoooped out; ftp makes me think of sending flowers; asp isn’t that a snake? Blog sounds like something you might get stuck in. Isn’t Tagging a game we all played in elementary school. Blogroll could be a bakery item.
I am a visual person. I put a picture to everything. That is how I studied for test in school. I put a visual image to each question and answer. All these visuals mixed in with all these new terms, just start going round and round in my crazy mind.
My question is…Can a person who is somewhat ADD, very visual, and terribly unorganized, actually ever make sense of any of this? HELP !!!!!
I know I can do it. I am determined to do it, but if my brain short circuits. You might get me confused with a ditzy blonde. Well maybe I am a ditzy blonde. But I am capable of learning. I promise, all of this (no matter how long it takes me to learn) has to be more interesting and fun than keeping up with documentation on loan files (my previous job for over 17 years). Now that is a hard job to put visuals to. It is hard to get visually creative when the word compliance is involved !
You only live once. Enjoy what you do. That is what I plan on doing. As soon as I figure out this puzzle called affiliate marketing, I want to learn photoshop, illustrator, and all that other creative stuff. I was born to create, and speak my mind.
